Center for Civics Education/WE THE PEOPLE/Project Citizen
A curricular program and cooperative-learning activities for middle grade students and youth groups, that promotes competent, responsible participation in local and state Government. Young people learn how to monitor and influence public policy, and in the process, they develop support for democratic values and principles, tolerance, and feelings of political efficacy.

Five Freedoms Project & Online Network
The sites will support the work of all educators, students and citizens who share a commitment to First Amendment freedoms, democratic schools, and the idea that children should be seen and heard. Teachers will find resources which stretch across the project’s four areas of concentration:  Individual Rights, Leadership, Voice and Impact.
