It’s All About Kids has partnered with Kids Voting Hawaii to create an engaging curriculum on voting for Hawaii’s students. Understanding the availability of technology resources in the classroom, the curriculum can be downloaded as an ActivInspire Flipchart, Powerpoint Presentation, or a PDF document. The lessons, materials, and a video demonstrating the lessons will be presented at the district training sessions during the months of August and September.
GET STARTED
1. Download the directions to install a free *ActivInspire Personal Edition 60-day trial version (Windows / Mac). You may want to print out the directions before proceeding to Step 2.
2. Download the ActivInspire software (Windows or Mac) and follow the installation directions above. Keep in mind that you don’t need an interactive whiteboard (e.g. Promethean or SMART Board) to use the software. Here are some ways that you can still use it:
- Projecting on a wall
- Projecting on a Dry Erase White Board
- Using a Smart Board or other interactive white board
3. Watch the Video Overview below, download the appropriate curriculum version, and easily modify the content for use with your students today! QuickTime is required to view the video. An installation link is available here –> QuickTime
Follow the instructions and download the links appropriate to your level (Elementary or Secondary).
